Frequently Asked Questions

1    Why should I keep the interior clean?
       It's just a car.

Unless you own a home, your car is likely your biggest investment. Our cars are an extension of our homes and we should take care of them accordingly. Taking action and adding protection to every surface is important to keep the dirt and stains from setting in.

2    Why do I need to wash my car?
It's just going to get dirty in two days.

Properly washing the exterior of your car is very important if you want it to look its best for as long as possible. If you leave bird droppings, rain or pollen sitting on the paint: it causes staining.  When you allow your car to go all winter with salt, sand or dirt on it: it causes rust and severe damage to your paint.

3    I go to the car wash!
      Isn't that good enough?

By going to a brush car wash , the brushes are scratching and damaging your paint with every pass. This can lead to you having to repair your paint with paint correction and polishing. It is impossible to truly clean all of the large brushes in these car washes. This leaves the grime, mud, and rocks from previous cars and  passes them to  yours. Or worse, the truck in front of you had barbed wire that got stuck in the brush.

While it's better if you are using a brushless car wash, it can still be damaging to your paint. They typically use heavy chemicals, acids and high PH products that will pull the bulk of the grime off your car, but leaves those harsh chemicals to sit on top of the left over residue, further damaging your paint. Without a mitt wash you're not getting a true clean.

4   What is the purpose of paint correction and                 polishing?

If your car is more than 5 years old, you may not be seeing the true paint color. Scratches and swirls obstruct the color over time and with a proper paint correction, the obstructions are removed sometimes revealing an entirely different color or metallic flake. Even cars straight from the dealership have some scratches from improper washing. For a car with deeper scratches, a 2 Stage Paint Correction can correct most imperfections.

5   Why is a ceramic coating important?

Protecting one of your biggest investments should be at the top of your list. A ceramic coating (unlike wax) is going to last anywhere from 1 to 5 years. These coatings are stronger and harder than the clear coat on top of the paint. They prevent UV damage and make water bead right off the paint, making cleaning a breeze. When you opt for the 3 year or 5 year ceramic, they also have self healing properties against micro swirls and scratches. Ceramic coating is not going to make your car invincible, but it will help protect your paint for years to come. You still need to care for the paint and coating for the best possible result.

6   I'm going to sell my car, why should I clean it?

When you clean your car or even get paint correction done before selling your vehicle, you are going to get the most out of your investment. A cleaner car attracts more buyers and can even get you a higher offer.

7  My headlights are yellow! I can barely see at night!
    What should I do?

Restoring the headlights and putting a protectant on them will bring them back to pristine condition, allowing you better night time visibility. We add a 3 year ceramic coating to keep them looking new as long as possible, so the deer in headlights stay as far away as possible!
